Curry Dip


I didn’t think I’d be posting this recipe- it was a very last minute addition to a party spread I put together the other night- but I got so many rave reviews I had to share it with y’all! This retro curry dip could not be easier to throw together, and it’s absolutely delicious on veggies, apple slices, chips and everything in between. Heck, it tastes pretty darn good straight off of a spoon too. It’s slightly sweet, mildly spicy, and totally addictive- a more interesting alternative to ranch! Hope y’all love it as much as I did- enjoy!

prep time: 10 min. cook time: 5 min. serves: makes about 1-1/4 cup


INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp cider vinegar

1 tbsp sugar

1-1/2 tsp prepared horseradish

1 tbsp finely chopped green onion

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder


FOR SERVING

a sprinkle of curry powder, potato chips (regular or sweet potato), assorted crunchy vegetables, and/or sliced apples

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well. Chill a couple of hours covered in the fridge for a stronger flavor. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with a dash of curry powder to garnish, and enjoy with chips and crudités!
